It’s crazy that it has officially been a whole month away. It has been so fast and slow. So many ups and downs we are grateful for already. This past week was without a doubt the most emotional and difficult one yet.We experienced so much pain and deep heartache. There were situations that left us with more questions than answers. But even in the middle of the confusion and sadness, God has been teaching us that He still deserves all the glory, no matter what.

We sing a song with the words“You can have all this world, I don’t want anything but You.”
It’s such a beautiful and bold declaration when sung in worship. But when it becomes real…when things are actually taken away from you….it’s something else entirely. It’s surreal. The words become heavier. They cost more. And even through it we found ourselves clinging to God more tightly. This week, I saw people around me walk through deep pain while still choosing to lift their hands and give all the glory to God. Their faith didn’t waver. It wasn’t fake. It wasn’t for show. It was genuine. And watching that moved all of us. It inspired us. It made me ask myself: Will my faith remain that strong when I face trials?

Now my prayer is that no matter what I go through, my faith would be unshakable. That no matter what is taken from me, I will still say, “God, You are worthy.”I’m reminded of 1 Peter 1:6-7: “In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

Please be praying—for our team, for the beautiful people of Guatemala, and for the missionaries faithfully serving here. Pray that their faith, and ours, would be genuine, not just in the easy moments but especially in the trials. Pray that we would all have unshakable faith—the kind that stands firm no matter what comes, always leaning fully on God, always giving Him glory.

Thank you for walking with us through your prayers. They mean more than you know.

  1. Thank you for sharing. We love you and are praying for you, the teams and for the families you guys are touching. ❤️

  2. God IS faithful through all circumstances. Sometimes we wish we didn’t have to remember the word ALL in circumstances, but he is still faithful, no matter the trial. Love and prayers daily

Hello everyone, thank you so much for coming on and supporting me in my journey with The World Race. I will be going on The World Race expedition 11 month trip designed to challenge my faith, grow my relationship with God, and bring hope of Jesus to the nations. During my 11 months I will be going to Guatemala Albania, Greece, Turkey, South Asia and Nepal. Every day on the world race looks different some days will be packed full with construction, VBS, building relationships with orphans, or praying for the sick at a hospital. Some days could be slower like shopping for groceries, cooking for the team, and spreading time praying for the community we are walking through. I am so excited for what God will be doing in these 11 months.
