Hey everyone! Our time in Albania has gone by so fast so here is a dump of everything that has been happening.

This season has been teaching me what it  looks like to do everyday life with God. Albania felt very normal in a lot of ways, and that actually made it so encouraging. It showed me that following Jesus isn’t just for big moments or church settings, but for real life. Watching people live for Christ in such a normal place helped me see what faith can look like in the real world.

Albania has been so much about learning how to hear God’s voice. One day we had an ATL day, and we went to a coffee shop. While we were there, we met some tourists and got the chance to share the gospel with them. It was really cool to see how God opens doors in simple, normal moments. We also spent a lot of time praying for the church here and for our ATL team in Macedonia.

During this time, God has been teaching me how to get over the fear of man and worrying about what people think of me. I’ve been learning how to face that fear and choose obedience instead. God has been showing me what it looks like to obey Him even when it feels uncomfortable or scary.

One day in , we set up a booth in the town square with the church. The whole goal was to love people and invite them in. We gave out tea, coffee, candy, Bibles, and cards. We also had face paint and balloons for kids. While the kids were playing, we were able to have real and intentional conversations with their parents about God. It was such a sweet and special time.

Another big thing God has been teaching me is how to be interruptible. One night on our way home, we met a guy and ended up having dinner with him. We spent the whole dinner talking about what he believes and what we believe. By the end of the night, we got to pray over him. He ended up blessing us and even paid for our dinner, which was so unexpected and kind.

We met some of the best people in Albania. Everyone has been so kind and wanted to spend time with us outside of ministry. We got to go peoples homes and just spend sweet time with everyone. It made saying goodbye was really hard but hoping we can come back one day. ( when it is warm) Yesterday, we took a seven-hour bus ride to North Macedonia, and now we’re here for two weeks staying in a hostel.

Something crazy already happened here. Last night, we were talking to another girl staying in the hostel, and she told us she’s from the Czech Republic. I told her I’m from California, and she said her daughter went to school there. She pulled out her phone and kept calling and texting her daughter until she found out what city she lived in. She said Victorville, which is where I’m from too! I ended up talking on the phone with her daughter to see if we knew the same people.

This season has been full of learning, trusting God, and seeing Him move in both the small moments and the big ones. Continue to be praying for our team as these two weeks are ATL we do not have plans in Macedonia. Pray for the lord to speak and for all of us to have clarity on what he says! Thank you guys!
