The day is finally here, Thursday, August 28th, I’ll be leaving for my 11-month missions trip! After so many months of praying, planning, fundraising, and preparing, it’s crazy to say it’s actually happening.

Our first stop is Georgia, where my team and I will be heading into Training Camp. This will be the beginning of our journey, a time to learn, grow, bond with each other, and seek God together before heading out into the world. I’m so excited for this season of preparation and can already feel God stirring something powerful in my heart.

There are truly no words to express how grateful I am to every single person who has supported me, through financial giving, words of encouragement, and especially through prayer. You’ve been a part of this journey from the very beginning, and I couldn’t have made it here without you. Thank you for believing in what God is doing in and through this trip.

As I step into this next chapter, I know that God is going to do incredible things, not just in the places we go, but in our hearts and in the people we meet. I’m so excited to see how He moves.

Please continue to keep me and my whole group in your prayers, for safety, unity, boldness, and open hearts to all God has in store. Your prayers truly make a difference, and we’ll be carrying them with us every step of the way.

Stay tuned for more updates as I begin this journey. The adventure has only just begun!

With so much love and gratitude,
Kayla

  1. The adventure has begun! I will pray for you and your team every day. 1 Corinthians 2:9 … “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Hello everyone, thank you so much for coming on and supporting me in my journey with The World Race. I will be going on The World Race expedition 11 month trip designed to challenge my faith, grow my relationship with God, and bring hope of Jesus to the nations. During my 11 months I will be going to Guatemala Albania, Greece, Turkey, South Asia and Nepal. Every day on the world race looks different some days will be packed full with construction, VBS, building relationships with orphans, or praying for the sick at a hospital. Some days could be slower like shopping for groceries, cooking for the team, and spreading time praying for the community we are walking through. I am so excited for what God will be doing in these 11 months.
